Here's a link for the Gotoh truss rod offered by Grizzly Tools. http://www.grizzly.com/products/H3086 Anyone tried them? Price looks good. Any reason they wouldn't work in John's CNC necks? |

I also found this from the Gotoh site http://www.hosco.co.jp/HOSCO_ENGLISH/Pages/gotoh_catalog/par ts5.html Still not a ton of info but at least both ends are visible. |

Chris, I think they are the same as these - item 9587. If so I have used them for all of my instruments so far and they are great 2 way adjusting rods. |

I've used those as well Dave, and yes I liked them. Don't Gotoh make them for Martin? Colin |

Have you had to use a fillet with these or does it fit snugly in the channel with no rattle? Does the flat side of the aluminum chassis go down in the slot or up against the fretboard? Thanks, Chris |

Chris, The rods fit snugly in an 11mm routed slot - no rattle. The flat metal side goes against the fretboard, You can do them with or without a wooden fillet but now I use a fillet as I like the flat wooden look of the neck before the fretboard is glued on: ![]() ![]() |

I think Mario uses these - at least the one way version. I've been meaning to try them as I've used up my stash of Stewmac "Hotrods"... -Mark |
